The City of Waltham is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant City Solicitor to join its Law Department to provide legal counsel, representation, advocacy, prosecution and defense, with a focus on land use and zoning.  Under the general supervision of the City Solicitor, this position will require representing and advising the City Council, Mayor, Zoning Board of Appeals, Conservation Commission and Board of Survey and Planning, as well as various departments in the areas of land use, zoning, conservation, planning and general real estate transactions.
