Registration is now open for our next educational program!
On Tuesday, April 4th, from 3pm to 6:30 pm, at Mast', located at 45 Province Street in downtown Boston, an experienced panel of labor attorneys will present the second in a two part series of a “nuts and bolts” program on labor law. Here are our panelists for the two part series:
· Christopher L. Brown, Esq., Miyares and Harrington LLP, Program Chair/Moderator
· Katherine M. Feodoroff, Esq., Mead, Talerman & Costa LLC
· Kay H. Hodge, Esq., Stoneman, Chandler & Miller LLP
· Melissa R. Murray, Esq., Norris, Murray & Peloquin LLC
· Sarah C. Spatafore, Esq., Murphy, Hesse, Toomey & Lehane LLP
If you were able to join us for the first part of this program back in February, you already know this will be a great program for general municipal practitioners of all experience levels, new lawyers, and law students to learn labor law basics that are important to know even for general municipal counsel. For this portion of our series, Kay Hodge and Melissa Murray will lead the presentation and discussion, sharing their extensive Labor Counsel experience in focusing on the various processes, concepts and considerations in disciplining public employees. Following the program there will be a networking event with light hors d'oeuvres available courtesy of MMLA, as well as a cash bar.
This event is free for law students and lawyers who have been admitted to the bar for less than 5 years. For all others, the registration fee is $35. Payments can be made online via credit card at our website at massmunilaw.org or by check made payable to MMLA and mailed to James Lampke, Esq., Executive Director, MMLA, 115 North Street, Suite 3, Hingham, MA 02043.
We hope you will join us for what should be a very informative program and discussion on this important area of municipal practice!
